Garry Colby

Garry began his career in Michigan and migrated south chasing his dreams to Georgia. Formal training came from Cass Technical High School and Wayne State University. He was an art director at Kenyon Eckhardt and Campbell Ewald. He worked at a large art studio where he honed his skills and reputation. As a free lance artist he broadened his client list including assignments for top corporations and publishers. He took time to give back to his profession, teaching at the Center for Creative Studies, an art college, for over 15 years.

In the last couple of years, in his quest to become a fine artist, he has studied with Marc Chatov, Charles Walls, Connie Lynn Riley, and James Richards. He has taken over 25 painting workshops. He has been a consistent winner of art exhibits at the Atlanta Art Center.
