Each month we plan to offer one evening of unique live music and free wine.
We also plan to feature an artist of the month and offer our art patrons the opportunity to meet and interact with the artist.

Barefoot in the Park – Fine Arts Festival. Mother’s Day Weekend. May 11 and 12.
The city of Duluth is presenting a art-filled weekend, MAy 11 and 12. There will be over 50 artists showing their creative work on the town green park.
Over 50 artists will be on the town green park area of downtown Duluth. There will be paintings, ceramics, photography, wood and sculpture, wine-tastings, music and performances all weekend long. See the “Barefoot in the Park” website for details.
2 Smith Art Gallery will be opened both Saturday and Sunday. Larry Smith will participate in the art show and he will be offering a free painting class Sunday morning at 10am in the Adult Learning tent.

New work from artist Li Wang.
We just received 6 new paintings from Li Wang. Li is one of the top Chinese artists in the United States. We are excited to have some more of his paintings in the gallery. Come by and see three new still lifes of flowers, and three landscapes.
Summer Art Classes start Wednesday, June 6 and Thursday June 7.
