2 Smith Art Gallery is Atlanta’s newest fine art gallery. The gallery features affordable, original art work from over 17 regional and national artists. Oil painting classes are offered. Portrait and commissioned art is available. The gallery is located in Gwinnett County on Main Street in Historic Downtown Duluth, GA.  The gallery was created by the artistic husband and wife team of Pam and Larry Smith.

2 Smith Art Gallery is nestled in the heart of Historic Downtown Duluth. Located on the corner of the Mathias Building on Main Street. Our neighbors include wonderful restaurants: The Park Cafe,  Pure,  and Stevereno’s,  Hardeman Fine Art Glass, Huthmaker Fine Violins,  Crave Pie - an exotic pie store, The Best of Brews — great beers, Chocolate Perks — a coffee shop, Peace Love and Design, Trish Land,  — two unique home decor boutiques and “the best music venus outside of the Perimeter”,  Duluth’s Red Clay Theatre hosted by Atlanta’s own Eddie Owen Presents.

From 2004 to 2012 Larry and Pam have shown their work at juried art shows all over the country. Larry’s work has been featured in select galleries, Art Collector Magazine and is in the home of many private art collectors. In the past seven years, Pam and Larry have received various awards, and made friends with some of the best fine artists in the country — many who are featured in 2 Smith Art Gallery.

Larry paints impressionistic landscapes and Pam excells in oil portraits and figurative paintings. In addition to their 2-D work, 2 Smith Art Gallery features a variety of  paintings, watercolors, one-of-a-kind wooden bowls and boxes, metal and bronze sculptues, clay and more.
2 Smith Art Gallery is full of original paintings including works from internationally known artists Peter Max and Salvador Dali, plus regionally known artists including painters Jon Smith, Li Wang and Bert Beirne. We have a beautiful bronze sculpture created by Nnambdi Okonkwo and wonderful wood-turned bowls from Spike Cloninger.

For the past six years, Larry and Pam have become one of Atlanta’s premier teaching pair. Together they help teach beginners and experienced artists how to develop their skills in oil painting. In 2012 they helped over 100 students learn how to improve their painting skills.

Before joining forces as artists and teachers, Larry and Pam were partners for 20 years in a successful Atlanta advertising agency. There long history of working together has helped make them a very effective teaching duo.

2 Smith Art Gallery hours are; Monday through Thursday – 10am until 7pm. Friday and Saturday 10am until 8pm. We are closed on Sundays.
